The October 2008 issue of Motor Trend sports an article about a test of the Hyundai Genesis 4.6, where it is tested against a Chrysler 300C, a Lexus GS 460, and a Mercedes E550.

The largest and most luxurious model Hyundai at present is the Hyundai Genesis, which is a large size sedan that competes to some extent with the Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6 and BMW 5Series by price, although dimensions are closer to the segment next higher. The Cash For Clunkers Program
Americans have been introduced to a new government rebate program called Cash for Clunkers that will offer cash vouchers to people who trade in their cars for the new more fuel efficient vehicles. This program was passed by Congress in June 2009 so as to help jump start the struggling auto sales and ofcourse to improve the environment.
The concept is rather straightforward - If you own a 1984 model or newer vehicle that has been insured and registered to you for the past one year and generates 18 mpg (miles per gallon) or less, then you qualify for the program. Ofcourse, the car must also be drivable. Now, if you trade this vehicle in for a car that gets an additional 4 mpg or more, you are presented a reward of $3,500 via a voucher. This voucher can be used while purchasing a new car. Furthermore, if you purchase an automobile that gets 10 mpg or more than your old car, then the government pays you $4,500.
Although the concept is good, people just can't seem to get through the obamanomics of things. The Obama administration is already telling lawmakers that the “cash-for-clunkers” program is running out of money. As the program was supposed to expire at the end of October, it appears to have run dry of the $1 billion allocated to it. For those interested on the program, check out http://www.cars.gov/
A lot of cars that the government is qualifying for a clunker are really good cars. Those who provide finance to people so as to buy cars could be hit, as the government has taken a lot of good cars out of the market and are hurting those people that cannot afford to buy a new car.
This here could be another unfortunate income redistribution program. It takes money away from taxpayers who have been driving fuel efficient cars and gives it to those who have been driving around in gas guzzlers for the past 20 years. Frugal, energy conscious people are being penalized. In other words, taxpayer money is being given to people to pay for their new car.
It is good, if you are bent on buying a brand new car and in which case, you will save money. However, the savings are nothing when compared to buying a used car. To be a bit more specific - new cars typically depreciate 20 to 30 percent in just the first year. By the third year, the car value is down by an average of about 45 percent! If the average sale price of a brand new car is around $28,000 and the average price of a used car is around $14,000, the savings achieved would be roughly $14,000 simply by letting somebody else buy a brand new vehicle!

Blaming a recession for not winning
Most of us have been influenced by the current scenario, and in a way we are all caught in this huge web, struggling to get out of it
There are ambitions, desires and dreams and there are times when I feel most at peace when not thinking about it. My last six months have been quite horrible and the situation becomes even more difficult for someone who depends on his online income. However, there are also times when i feel that i am fortunate to reach where I am today.
Although winning is difficult, it is a quality that everyone must possess. In other words, we must have a definiteness of purpose, a clear vision and knowledge of what we want combined with a burning desire to possess this. Blaming a recession for not winning is a losing strategy
Every achievement obtained during this recession must be considered as a winning one. In fact, most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all
In other words, a difficult time can be more readily endured if we retain the conviction that our existence holds a purpose, a cause to pursue, a person to love, a goal to achieve. With these qualities, there is no stopping us
We all have hopes and dreams and we all go through times in our lives when we come up with ideas of things that we would like to accomplish in life. It's a natural human tendency. But what happens when the years go by and those dreams never come to fruition? What happens when we find ourselves, years later, in a situation that's so far removed from our ideal that we can only think that we've somehow failed, that we haven't accomplished our life's desire?
It can be a very devastating experience.
Well, at 44, I sometimes lose hope that this dream will ever come true, and sometimes I would get upset at God for not helping me to make this happen. So this has been a great impediment in my living a full life. Sometimes I'm unable to be happy in the moment because of these unfulfilled dreams. It's those "why couldn't it have been?", "why didn't it happen for me?" times that rob me of my joy for today. And as much as I know and have read that real peace is internal, I also know for me, that the environment where I spend my time makes a difference.
I try to focus on the fact that I trust God to put me where I'm most effective, where I can do the most good, and where I can learn the most. Getting through the hard times has been much more beneficial to me in the long run than having an idyllic life would have been.
I've learned more about what I truly want out of life through painful experiences, than I have in times when everything's been fine.
Let your heart guide you - if it tells you to stay, that's where you're supposed to be, and make the most of it. If it tells you to go, then take the risk and make the most of that. If faith in the lord is part of your life, ask him for guidance, then listen for the answer and whatever that answer may be, follow it, for you will be taken care of.

Hacking has now become Ethical
Hacker is a term that was been associated as something criminal - although the movies have made them into anti-heroes
In most cases, they are a breed of anti-heroes who uses his laptop and illegally gains access to a large network and sometimes tampers with information in this large computer system.
However, thanks to EC-Council (eccouncil.org), the scenario is fast changing.
eccouncil.org have come up with a course or an Ethical Hacking course where they certify individuals in various e-business and security skills on completion of that course.
Now, what is a Certified Ethical Hacker ?
The eccouncil.org defines a Certified Ethical Hacker as an individual who is usually employed with the organization and who can be trusted to undertake an attempt to penetrate networks and or computer systems using the same methods as a Hacker.
Hacking is a felony in the United States and most other countries. When hacking is done legally, it is done as per a contract / agreement between an Ethical Hacker and an organization. The most important aspect is that an Ethical Hacker has the total authorization to probe the target so as to identify flaws in the existing network or security systems.
It's high time I took one - My reputation as the neighborhood-whiz is fast depleting and to make matters worse, my friends are also applying to this course
These are all the areas they cover for their course on Ethical Hacking, which they call the "iClass".
